Kim: I really like Kimberly Poloson’s calendars—I had one last year and was actually excited to turn the pages. There is a kitschy element to them, and I wouldn’t want this kind of artwork all over my house, but most of the paintings are soft, feminine, vintagey collages, weathered and worn.
But.
This is the January page. This creepy snowman is the stuff of nightmares. (And once again this year, there is another gigantic rooster in the fall. Something to look forward to!)
